Dockables is a side dock for Windows. It sits on the left or right edge of any monitor and keeps that space the way the taskbar does, so maximised windows make room. Notes, lists, reminders, linked folders and your day by the hour are one click, or Ctrl+Alt+N, away.
Invited email addresses sign in to the download portal with a one-time code. Beta builds are unsigned previews.
Dockables is always on the edge of the screen and never on top of your work, so it is the place for the things you would otherwise jot on paper.
Press Ctrl+Alt+N in the app you are testing, type what you saw, press Esc: the note is saved and you are back where you were. The dock keeps its own strip of the screen, so a maximised app stays fully in view beside it.
Link the folder to the note about it. Browse it from the dock, open a file, copy it, or drag it straight into an email.
Daily Do lays out today hour by hour. Click an hour, pick the minute, and the note sits there; the calendar beside the dock shows the week or the month.
A reminder goes off as a notification or an alarm, then waits behind the bell until you tick the note done or move it. Unfinished notes from earlier days wait at the top of Daily Do.
Click the microphone in a note and speak: the words appear as you talk. Dictation runs on your PC with its speech model included, so it works offline, and voice commands such as “new line”, “comma” and “scratch that” do what they say.
The clock button opens a stopwatch with laps, and a timer with a reminder note: tap 1 to 9 for minutes, or say “10 minutes check the oven”. The timer counts down on a chip at the top of the dock and rings with your note. Ctrl+Alt+T opens it from any app.
Dockables is a real Windows AppBar. Other windows never sit under it, and it gives the space back the moment it closes.
+ Note puts a new card on top with the caret in it. Its title follows your first words until you rename it. Open the ☰ strip on a card to add what it needs.
Checkboxes with new items on top. Paste several lines to make several items; Clear ticked, with Undo.
Today or Tomorrow, a day picker, and times typed the way you say them: 15:00, 3pm or 0930.
At the start or from 5 minutes to a day before: a Windows notification, or an alarm window with sound and snooze for 5, 10 or 30 minutes, while Dockables runs.
Type a place and a map opens beside the dock; Use this place keeps it. Copy link sends it to your phone.
Link a folder or a file. Browse it inside the note (never above the folder you linked), open a file with its app, open it in Explorer, copy it, or drag it out as a real file. A path missing on this PC says so.
The Daily Do button fills the dock with today's hours, the current hour marked, then the next days and the weeks and months after. Every entry is the same note card, still in its own category.
The calendar button opens Day, Week or Month next to the dock, on the same monitor, without moving it. A slider sets how many hours the rows show; click a note to open it, or an empty hour to add one.
Open the categories as a grid, or keep the category bar beside the dock. A category's colour becomes the stripe of its notes, and a note can still have a colour of its own. Double-click a category to rename it.
Reminders that went off collect behind a bell with an unread count, even on the collapsed rail. Click one to see its note. Tick the note done or reschedule it and the notification goes away by itself.
Notes are saved on this PC as you type. Choose a OneDrive folder, or any folder, and each PC writes its own file there, so two PCs never overwrite each other. When another PC changes a note, it appears here within about a second of OneDrive bringing it down.
Already invited? Go to step 2. Otherwise choose Request beta access and send the email: your address is added to the beta list.
Choose Get the beta and sign in with your invited email address; Cloudflare emails you a one-time code. Then choose Download for Windows.
Beta builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows may say it protected your PC: choose More info, then Run anyway. Dockables docks on the right edge of your right-most monitor.
The beta is free. Found a bug or missing something? Send feedback; every message is read.
Ask with Request beta access. The download portal lets in only the email addresses on the beta list; you sign in with a one-time code sent to that address.
Yes. The beta is free. All that is asked in return is your feedback.
Beta builds are unsigned previews, so SmartScreen does not recognise them. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If Smart App Control is on, Windows blocks them and offers no Run anyway; the beta cannot be installed on that PC yet.
In your Windows account's local app data folder, or in the folder you choose (a OneDrive account or any folder). Each PC chooses its own. Uninstalling Dockables leaves your notes and settings where they are.
Your notes, lists, reminders and Daily Do work offline. So does dictation: its speech model runs on your PC. Only the map beside the dock and update checks use the network. Your notes never pass through Gufinov.
New beta builds appear on the download portal. Connect Dockables once in ☰ → Settings → Updates and it checks for new versions by itself and asks before installing. Every release is signed, and Dockables checks the signature before it installs anything.
Not at the moment: Dockables docks on the left or right edge of any monitor, or floats as a window.
If Dockables is ever ended by force, Windows can keep its space. Open Task Manager, select Windows Explorer and choose Restart.
